History of AMC Medical Education Trust The A.M.C. Medical Education Trust (AMC MET) was established in August 2008 by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation with the objective of creating a dedicated and efficient administrative framework for managing medical education institutions. The Trust was formed as a separate organization to operate medical colleges and to reduce the financial as well as administrative burden on the Municipal Corporation. At the time of its formation, two existing medical colleges were brought under the Trust's management.
