### Krea University Krea University is a private university located at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh, around 70 km from Chennai. The university was established with the idea of creating a different kind of learning environment where students can understand subjects from multiple perspectives rather than studying disciplines in isolation. Its academic approach brings together the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences and management, with an emphasis on preparing students for a rapidly changing world. One of the most distinctive features of Krea is its **Interwoven Learning** approach. The idea is to connect classroom knowledge with practical situations, combine different academic disciplines and encourage students to look at problems from more than one angle. Research, critical thinking, communication, writing, ethics and real-world application are important parts of this learning model. Instead of focusing only on fixed answers, students are encouraged to explore questions, analyse information and develop their own understanding. Krea University's academic ecosystem includes the **School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS)** and the **IFMR Graduate School of Business (GSB)**, along with doctoral and research activities. Undergraduate options include programmes in areas such as arts, sciences and management, while the university also offers postgraduate and doctoral-level opportunities. The university campus at Sri City is spread across approximately 40 acres and includes technology-enabled classrooms, laboratories, a library, sports facilities, residential spaces, green areas and other student facilities. Its location within an integrated industrial city also provides an environment where academic learning can connect with businesses and wider professional opportunities. Krea places strong importance on **ethics, excellence, inclusivity and accountability**. The university also has academic and institutional collaborations with several international universities and organisations, giving students opportunities for exchanges, progression programmes and broader academic exposure. For students looking for an interdisciplinary education that combines academic learning with research, practical exposure and different fields of study, Krea University offers an education model designed around curiosity, adaptability and independent thinking.
