### Acharya Bangalore B-School – Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS) is a higher education institution based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with its roots going back to 2008. The institute was established under the Samagra Sikshana Samithi Trust (SSST), an educational trust founded in 1996 with the aim of developing institutions across different areas of education. Over the years, ABBS has developed its academic focus around management, commerce, life sciences, media and communication, and related disciplines. One of the main features of ABBS is its emphasis on connecting classroom learning with practical exposure. The institute’s academic approach includes industry interaction, workshops, entrepreneurship-related activities, management development programmes and opportunities for students to work on practical projects. This approach is intended to help students understand how concepts learned in class are applied in professional environments. ABBS is located on a five-acre campus in Bengaluru, a city widely known for its strong business and technology ecosystem. The campus includes academic facilities, classrooms, hostel accommodation and sports infrastructure, providing students with facilities for both academic and extracurricular activities. The institution is affiliated with Bangalore University and has recognition and accreditation from several bodies. According to ABBS, it is recognized by the University Grants Commission under Sections 2(f) and 12(b), approved by AICTE, and accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC. Its management education programmes also have international accreditation from IACBE, while the MBA programme has received NBA accreditation. The Samagra Sikshana Samithi Trust continues to oversee a wider group of educational institutions covering areas such as health sciences, law, humanities, commerce, IT and paramedical education. This broader academic ecosystem is part of the foundation behind ABBS’s growth and its approach to higher education. Today, ABBS combines academic learning, industry exposure and campus-based activities to provide students with opportunities to develop professional knowledge as well as practical skills.
